Post Should I rebuild the front end?

A buddy was supposed to help me rebuild the front end on my truck, but he backed out. I've never worked on a front end before, is it something I could walk myself through with a good manual, or should I fugghedaboudit and wait for a real mechanic?

What all were you going to do? most front end work is straight forward. The hardest part would be doing the control arm bushings.BAll joints and tie rods are a breeze

IT'S NOT THAT TOUGH. THESE ARE SOME OF THE SIMPLEST, MOST STRAIGHT-FORWORD FRONTENDS THERE ARE TO REBUILD. GO FOR IT

I'm doing my right now it has been pretty simple. the hardest parts is to get the 33years of rusty bolts and bushing off. but I need to find torque spec for it. I do have one question when replacing the top balljoint that had rivets do Iuse a grade 8 bolt that fit or what. never thought i wooud get this far into my frontend ethier

have a safe week end to darn cold to go sking
