Talking The wife gave the go ahead!

I have been reading this board for over 2 years and a registered in March 2000. I have had plans for my 71 ever since I bought it in 1997. I was getting ready to start restoring it and guess what - a baby was on the way. Well then we needed a bigger house. So the truck kept getting put on the back burner. The emotional roller coaster of thinking you are going to get started and then " we have more important things to take care of at this time." Finally everything is in line and she said, "why don't you get started on old yellow." Before she could change her mind I was in the garage tearing into the project. I am so excited to finally get started. I will have lots of questions for all of you. How many posts will I need to have before I finally become a member?

I guess restoring these trucks is kinda like aging fine wine? I've been working on mine since 93. Been at it so long, that now I can run antique plates on it. Don't worry, you'll get it the way ya want eventually.
