Will this forum allow HEIC pic file forma uploads?
seems like apple once again created a problem just so that they could solve it, their new OS stores pics on your iphone in a new file format that this forum does not yet accept, so I am wondering if it's possible to enable that feature

They've been doing that since 2017 with any device iOS 11+.

I had this issue with my iphone, just change it in settings. You can set it to take jpg. I then converted the ones I had taken with infranview.
I always had an android or google phone, this was super new to me. |

I downloaded the latest update to my Iphone a few days ago ( I always keep it updated). Today I took a few pics with my Iphone and downloaded them to the site. No issues at all.

When pic is open I make the view smaller so I can see the whole pic (bottom right). In paint you can rotate or crop the pic, etc. If it looks good just click save. Have not had the need to resize when doing it this way. Pic should be resized when uploaded. Don't think I have seen you have problems with rotated pics. None the less using using preview post is always a good idea.
