Window seal question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Talking about the seal that goes in the door at the bottom of the side window.
The front has to go into a notch so that it will cover the bottom of the vent window post. Mine won't push in there. Bet I have to grind a bevel on it, but it's covered with rubber. How do you do that?

I just snipped it with tin snips. good luck
