Re: Project 4.3 SS

If all you would, please vote me in for TOTM . for this 94 C1500 project. ..6 week build of a truck..All work done right here at home.

I would like to get that if i could..

I am getting the vortec intake spyder repaired..And i am fixing the 94 Jimmy Vortec wire harness to work in the fullsized truck changed over..It needs a little more power and i do not want to V8 it yet.

Re: Project 4.3 SS

Been there done that, I've done plenty with a cheap devilbiss spray gun from lowes for about $20 and right out in the open, it does look good but you can cut and buff it for more shine and depth. Have to wait about a week to do it though.

Re: Project 4.3 SS

Looks really good! A wet sand and buff would really make it shine, looks like it's plenty straight too.

You need some 275/50/ white letter tires to set that off.

Whered you get the pinstripe?

stock getrag nv3500 5 speed..and they are ok for daily driver...but not if you are going to race it..they are a weak unit..I have a spare one here when this one goes out.

Those rims and new tires were on the truck at the auction...i got them cheap..with a 94 truck that came with them

done put 4,000 miles on it..getting 24mpg ,doing very good...rides like a new truck. when i get my cowl hood and paint it, it will look even better.

Re: Project 4.3 SS

this one is getting 24 combined town and highway..stock TBI for now..5 speed 3.42 with a caprice posi in it. 132,000 miles on it now. Mabye it is the tall tires that are coming off..275/60/15 will be going on. I do not like the big sidewall on these.

What color paint is that? Where did the bed cover come from? How does it attack/detach?

I love the truck, keep going!

Re: Project 4.3 SS

Paint is 1992 corvette/camaro Purple haze metallic It is a different color that you dont see much..

I bought the bed cover off here It clamps on the bed..I will sell the cover now that i have a toolbox..

The cover is a LeBra cover..with gas shocks..and lifts up to access bed..$150 and its yours.
