For someone that does not have the ability to build one with thier own labor that is a steal.

That truck is priced to sell, IMO.

Re: Look at this for $22,500

Nice looking truck but too bad there isn't much of the original truck left. Personally I wouldn't pay that much for a truck that is a hodge podge of trucks put together. It obviously appeals to many but I prefer a real truck from the era with real parts from the era. His craftsmanship is good just isn't much from the original era there, even the engine is from another vehicle lol!

That is a great example of what can be made of these trucks. I hope he has luck selling it, that's a steal of a deal.

Look at what he started with:

Even if you went for a factory stock look, you'd have to piece it together. Regardless of your style preference, it takes a buttload of time, talent, and money to get from A to Z.

Re: Look at this for $22,500

It was also listed on Ebay a while back. HERE

This is very good price in my humble opinion. He probably has more than $20K in labor in building this thing. I know you can't count that but some people actually pay shops to do work and it's not cheap.

To each his own. Not sure I would call it a hodge podge though. True survivors are rare from the era. All the rest have either been restored with rebuilt engines, trannys, differentials etc. etc. Do all the parts come from the original truck? Are these hodge podge too?

The negative, biased and uneducated comments on this trucks value are exactly why these type of threads get locked.

mrhino good luck with the sale of your truck. It's a really nice build and you have it priced to move.
