All it would do is spin and it was better left at home when the roads where wet. It was fun to drive and got good mpg.

Straight off eBay:

Now:

My new tires come in tomorrow, as should my step notch and about a million other parts that I've ordered over the past couple of weeks, so I was real stoked about getting alot done this weekend, only to find out today that I have to work this weekend. That would be all good if I didn't have to drive four hours to work on it!

alright. what the heck, i'll bite.

how she looked the day she rolled on in.

and how she looks now.

Far from perfect, but good enough for me. Not bad for 1K total, including truck and plates. and that includes redoing the ol' girl after we hit a tree.

yupp. doesn't compare to most of these on here, but, she turns a few heads. . wouldn't trade 'er for the world.

Re: POST YOUR: Before and After Pics

Nice trucks. I didn't do much to mine yet. I swaped motors and install 4.10 gears. Maybe this summer I'll do some work to it.
Second pic shows the mess under a hood when I bought it.

Re: POST YOUR: Before and After Pics

I slapped that motor together with parts I had laying around. I was running that motor in my ventura with 62 heads. I swaped to 11 heads to lower comp. This year I might get a new motor for the ventura and swap to this motor.

Thanks, it was very nice before I stripped it. We made a crossmember for c4 corvette front suspension, the rear is getting a 4 link and a explorer 8.8, coilovers on all 4 corners, getting a procharged 6.0, t56 6 speed from a 04 gto, going to get the donor truck cab this weekend and it will end up being a traizer with a 4-5" ride height that is making around 700hp I have the motor, trans, front suspension, rearend, etc but the procharger is my next big purchase.

Not so sure the before/after is noticable, but...
Before: (only side shot I have of early days)

Only thing "new" in this pic is the mirrors:

After:

Cool deal, i am prob gonna put a 6.0 in mine, and have been toying with building it to a 408 for fun. I like the power/ economy and reliability of the 5.3 in my 99 silverado, so i know it would be cool in the 70.
