We'll see how it goes. I don't have a very good time slot since I wanted so late to enter. I suspect I'll be taking Tom to Good Guys in October.

Me too, especially this one, but something has to go, in fact several somethings. I've got four of these and one is plenty.

I've got vehicles all over the countryside - my daughter's, my cousins, my shop, my house, and over at Kyle's. Trying to get my habit under control!

He's not going across - misplaced his paperwork, so I didn't make the trek.

Hey Kevin,

Sorry I missed your post. The steering box is from the next series pickup, a mid seventies unit.

Re: US Tom

Hey Steve, where'd you buy the Scott's front upper shock relocators? I looked on their website and couldn't find them. I'm trying to collect my parts to add air suspension and I'm pretty sure I need the relocators, but I want to keep a stock shock so PB is out. I've got enough problems remembering all the different vehicles I've borrowed parts from on my GTO that I don't want a ton of that on the C10 too. I won't be able to remember which is which if I need to replace something on the road.

I may have passed it, but did you notch the rear frame? btw... Tom still looks great!

Re: US Tom

Call Scott's Hot Rods ((805) 485-0382) and ask for Justin. Tell him his website sucks and he needs to get Steve to do a new one for him. Next, tell him to start a build thread on the C10 he is building for the Good guys Giveaway. Then ask him for a set of the shock relocators.

I did not notch the frame, because at drive height there doesn't appear to be any interference.

Re: US Tom

Perfect, Thanks. I'll see what I can do about the website and build thread, but trying to buy parts from a guy after telling him his site sucks probably isn't a good way to get parts.

Re: US Tom

I'm thrilled with it. Works much better than the factory air unit, and a much tidier install.
