I am looking for a correct 72 gas tank filler neck with the vent. It is the 1 1/2 inch neck. Looking for a clean one. Also looking for some of the original hose clamps off the vent lines from inside the cab.

What part of that fill neck is 1.5 inch, the inside opening?

The outter diameter will be 1 1/2 inches.

Checked and both my 72 half tons have 2 inch necks with EEC tank vents. Which trucks had the 1.5 neck?

Both 71-72 original 1/2 ton trucks had 1 1/2 inch fill necks on their tanks.

I checked my '71 and '72 .... Both have the small caps???

For a half ton that will be correct.
