Made some billet fender emblems at work today

Just wanted to share some emblems I made earlier today

Still gotta run them thru the vibratory polisher but pretty happy with how they turned out.

Unfortunately he can't sell them on here unless he is a "Premium" member and if this turns into a "for sale" thread it will be locked....

He never said anything about selling them so don't stir the pot....Nice job on the emblems.

Re: Made some billet fender emblems at work today

Are you remaking the set you cold cast because you're not happy with the finished product, or just because you can? The reason I ask is that I was considering using cold casting to make some custom emblems.

I was never happy with the detail on the cold cast ones, they just didn't have the crispness that I wanted.

He's in blue, but still looks like a for sale post in the general forum.
Now that he's a supporting member, he can advertise in the FS area. That's where your questions can be answered.

Re: Made some billet fender emblems at work today

Definitely never meant for this to be taken as a "for sale" post or to break any of the rules, mostly I was just showing of something that I thought turned out nice.

I became a premium member just incase something does come from it, not to mention supporting a forum that i've enjoyed for several years.

Yes have had quite a few people msg me about making them, but at 3 hours shop rate + materials for a set of them i'm not sure how many people would even be interested.

With that all said if there was a demand for them I would consider doing a small run, I always like seeing something that I've created being used and enjoyed but that was never the reason for this post.

Re: Made some billet fender emblems at work today

You should make a "Testing the waters" thread in the for sale area to see how many people would buy them. I would definitely be in for a pair of 6.0 emblems.

Beautiful work! Wish my cnc would do that! Might look cool if you anodize them black then mill the surface silver. Again, beautiful work!
