Hahahaha, I was commenting from your remark about the cost of metals, a 4x8 sheet of plywood that was $44 in Feb is now $64 here. And I thought the $44 was outrageous.

Now I'm thinking about a squarebody-esque stagecoach, thank you for that.

Finally installed speakers with these brackets. I bought the brackets in Dec 2015! I had the brackets painted when the truck was painted a few years ago. Had to modify the new package tray to fit the brackets. Applied dynamat and closed cell foam on the sheetmetal behind the speakers. Installed a Retrosound radio at the same time. Sounds and looks good! Plan to replace/add a new speaker in the dash center to provide front sound.

They look great, I like the color and integration with the package tray. Nice work and thanks for the feedback!

FYI www.73-87chevytrucks.com have the best speaker kick panels on the market should you go that route.
