Cool hawk any good?

Are hawk proformance brake pads any good? Looking at replacing fronts with these, need better stopping power. Any recommended pro brake pads. Thanks in advance

Re: hawk any good?

Hawk is very popular amongst my autocross friends. The HPS (what you are looking at) is a street-friendly pad. HP+ is mind-stoppingly wonderful, but dusty and noisy.

I have a set of Porterfield R4S on my Super 7, and they are fine, just not epic. They are the equivalent of the HPS. I will do Hawk HP+ the next time on it.

Re: hawk any good?

With all the bad drivers in Houston I just want something that will stop on the dime. Drove 10 miles today and almost had two accidents. And since I'm hearing a slight squel when stopping no better time to upgrade. Thanks!

I run (and have run) Hawk's for a long time now, street and autocross, and they are wonderful!
