Re: Cubber's Build Thread

Thanks, everyone! It's been busy here for the last few days, but I am hoping to at least get the last bit of the paint applied in the next day or two. There will be lots of sanding to follow, but that's kinda fun because it yields the results (backwards, huh?). If I can get my paint to an acceptable stage, then all I will lack is a little interior work and a little more bed wood and I'll be ready for the summer cruise in circuit!

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

Thanks, fellas. had to work over today, so no painting. Also got a call and found out my Grandfather who is living down in Sarasota, Fl has taken a bad turn. doctors said he may only have days left. We were really tight when I was a kid. he taught me a lot about how to be a hilbilly, lol, I'm gonna try to sleep a few hours and then head down there to try to see him. He told my Dad today he was ready to see Jesus.

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

My Granfather "Pa" is not going to be here much longer. I was able to see and talk to him this weekend. He is ready to go home, and the doctors say it could be hours, as of today. He will be missed, but his good part is about to start. Finished laying on the orange today, will let cure and sand ater this week. Also painted my door panels.

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

Truck is looking good. Can not wait to see it in person.

Hate to hear about your Grandfather, no matter how old they are or what condition they are in it is still hard to loose them. It is great that you was able to see and talk to him last weekend.
