I have no lo-beams only hi-beams. Tried a new dimmer switch but problem still persists. Any other options available ? Also having gas gauge troubles. The needle is pointing way over to the 4 oclock position, tried another sending unit externally (I grounded the unit to the tank) and the needle moved upwardly to about 3 oclock but that was it. HELP!!!!!

moved to 67-72 for you.. prolly shoulda moved it to electrical, but this works and you will get an answer

you probably have a short somewhere in the electrical system, if you have HID or any other light thats brighter than halogen bulbs then there is a high chance that the wires have melted from the exess heat. i heard a few stories of this happening when first the low beams go, then you turn on the high beams and then they quit. not sure about the gas guage though

the fuel guage sounds like an open circuit. Follow the brown wire off the sending unit, it's probably corroded/cracked under the sill plate.
Have you verified that your headlamps are actually getting power to them? As in... are the bulbs burned out by chance?

Thanx to all, it was a broken wire under the door sill (gas gauge problem) and believe it or not, it was BOTH!! lowbeams burnt out (whwat r the chances of that. You guys are awsome , thank you again for your help and advice!!

clean your ground wires for the headlights to make sure they continue to work properly
