Re: Suburban and panel finds

No pictures and hard to see it in all of the rest of the descriptions. But it may be a real find. One of those one owner finds, with a dozen 70's accessories.
MAYBE!! Good Luck

Looks like some rust coming through. Might be more of a project than you think.

This one is for sale near Syracuse NY despite the NJ Craigslist listing. What's up with those rear quarter panels?

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Has anyone else noticed the lower rear quarter and the extra body line? Whole lot of oddness on this one.

That's what made me post this! Gotta be about 40 pounds of bondo in each lower quarter!

Re: Suburban and panel finds

And it has 64cc combustion chambers which is one of the most important things when buying an old, beat up truck. Oddly mentioned.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

That is a very nice suburban, the ad says make offer.
If you look at the price and condition of the 5 plus grand one (which may be overpriced) the 60 grand isn't bad.
I would like to see pictures of a they started with and the build process.
That should sell for close to the asking price, the receipts total will be high on that one if it's a quality build.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

I guess part of why I feel it is over priced is there is no mention of the restoration process, which could be fine if it was a super low mileage, extra clean truck, but again no mention of that. And for that money it had better have some serious horsepower. I think that it will be for sale for quite awhile. I agree with you about the need for lots of documentation. As to second ones pricing, it's $100 more than I paid for my Burban 18 months ago. It would be interesting to hear back as to what both of them sell for.

This one is mine. I just listed it on the board and I will give a forum member a deal on it. Plan is to list it on ebay in May. Rock solid with lots of work already done. I bought my 72 Blazer off the board late last year and it has evolved in to a full frame off project now which has stolen all my time.

dubds10, you should put your money where your mouth is and bring all those $100 Suburbans down to the States.

My $1800 K5 pulling my $500 Burb that was a complete runner with minor rust compared to a $5500 parts burb lol There are lots of good deals out there & lots of bad deals. Last burb I seen for $500 was still in way better shape than that $5500 one.

Here's a '60s so not same year, but at least it's realistically priced lol Hmm go pay $5500 for a parts Burb or a completed one for $10k... https://roseburg.craigslist.org/cto/6006842491.html
