Where does the hose goto?

Where does the rubber hose from the firewall mounted diaphragm (?) above the firewall heater box go to? I think it's the charcoal canister.

Re: Where does the hose goto?

If it's the one I think you're talking about, it goes to the heater control. It opens and closes the cowl vent.

I was going to comment and then realized "which rubber hose?"...I got the manual out and found a vacuum hose diagram for AC trucks but again it left me wondering which hose because there are three in that area. Two go to individual vent doors and a third goes to that round vacuum canister in the pic, and yet there is a vacuum control head switch located at the top of the evaporator box in the pic...Need more definition...Makes me glad I have the two windows with wings AC after reading all the ins and outs of the factory Four Season AC Systems...I live in Nebraska, had to turn the heater on last night!
