The sound deadener really made a difference as far as going around the truck and tapping on the panels. Definitely isn't tinny sounding anymore! I only put a light coat on the wood, it was what was left over. More just to seal the wood somewhat. I couldn't see applying a full coating over the wood, I don't think it'll transfer much sound or heat. Once the carpet, padding, and headliner are installed it should be pretty quite. Long ways to go before that happens though! Next on the list is to get the inside painted and do the body work, make it run and move. The list goes on.
