275/60/15 mastercraft on aluminum American racing I believe, with bowtie spinner centers. Waiting on the 8" steelies to come home from the powder coat shop.

15x7 and 15x8 Thought I was getting out nubs so I could run stock 4x4 caps--ended up with these and had to remove centers for front! Do not make this mistake if you want to run stock caps!

Re: 15 inch tire and wheel combos only

Older American Racing wheels 15" x 8" fronts 245/60's rear 275/60's . Burban on bags. Wheels were on it when I bought it. There is little clearance between the lugnut and the wheel. It requires a thin wall socket to fit on the lugnut.

Hey jmj4, nice looking truck! Is it a 2 or 4wd? Any more pictures? I looked but couldn't find a thread dedicated to it.

2wd. Documented the tear down and rebuild in photos but didn't post a build thread as I did it in just under a year and was too busy trying to get it back together.

One of those things I'll probably get around to doing at some point...

Re: 15 inch tire and wheel combos only

here's another photo showing the wheels and tires during assembly. keep in mind the suspension had just been reinstalled and the front coils hadn't re-compressed from being out which is why it stands a little taller than it does today.

Re: 15 inch tire and wheel combos only

Would be nice to see more finished pics of that one. Several years ago I almost bought a '68 stepside in that color. To this day I kick myself for passing on it.

By the way, what width wheels are you running?

Re: 15 inch tire and wheel combos only

Funny, I have a lot of progress photos but very few now that it's back on the road. I'll see what I can find & post. Went back with dark olive poly single stage paint. Kept the truck stock with a few upgrades from a donor I purchased.

Wheels are the original 5.5" wide, three nub steelies I had powder coated.

Not a very good pic. I have weld drag lites. I cant afford the big wheels. There are only a few I like. So I stick with the old school look.
