So there I was...

FingerTight and his '69 C10
Hi everyone, fresh to the board and wanted to introduce myself. I just picked up my first classic last week! It's a '69 and I think it is in pretty darn good shape, check 'er out:
 The details: - 350 w/ what looks like an original 2 barrel - 700R4 - Leaf spring rear end Things I am stoked on: - Every light works - Every gauge works - The interior is in great shape, upholstery and carpet look new - Truck has all records back to '70 and even has the original warranty card  - Original black CA plates  - Brand new tires Projects to do: - Carb rebuild (she stumbles if ya put a boot to it right off the line, maybe a bad accel. pump?) - Primer fender / hood (gotta stop the rust, only surface...for now) - Fix bed tear (the braces are missing in front of the wheel and its starting to tear) - Headlight switch (she needs some wiggle'n to work) - Driver window (rolls down past the edge of the door and is tough to get back up) - Motorcycle tie downs (she's gotta get the dirtbike to the desert!) - Weather stripping / door seals (it's a wind tunnel currently) - Fuel filler gromet (rotten) - Bedliner - Paint job - Disc brakes Projects completed since I picked it up: - Brakes (new drums, new shoes, new fluid, good bleed'n) - Trailer hitch - Trailer wiring - Alternator belt - U joint at the diff (busted bad) - Right speaker (no worky) - Rear view mirror (long gone) - High beam switch (sticky) - Tach light - Wiper blades Anywho, there ya go!
