Door trim question

A stupid question but I will ask anyway Is there an easy way to tighten the upper and lower door trim that is behind the door hinges. I have tried many things and no luck yet.

Re: Door trim question

The only EASY way to do it is to remove the front fender. In fact that's about the only way to do it. Unless someone knows a trick that I dont.

Re: Door trim question

I have used the snap in style clip for the front location otherwise I have not been able to get at the stud.

Re: Door trim question

Take off the door.. There is not an easy way to do it really. For people who do it sort of often, I have heard them say they made themselves a special tool out of a long 3/8 wrench.

Re: Door trim question

Thanks for the reply's I had just put the fenders and inners and hood back on and had everything lined up great so I could get the front pieces tightened, I was hoping I did not have to remove them again.two steps forward and one back again.
