Re: That sickening feeling

I think we all have done a stupid thing like this some time in our lives ,, the good thing about this one is ,the guy had a lot of luck with that truck driver hitting the brakes in time ..

Re: That sickening feeling

Wonder when he noticed it wasn’t behind him . Why was the dash cam on in a car being towed ? Ignition is off car is in park . Used to flat tow our 04 envoy had to go through a 7 or 8 step process and pull a few fuses . Lots of whys here like why is it on a dolly jeeps can be flat towed all four wheels on the ground . Replaced the Envoy as a towed vehicle with a Grand Cherokee because it could be flat towed

Fool's luck right there. Mighty neglectful. It's a good thing no others were victimized by the stupidity

Re: That sickening feeling

Lucky indeed, for all the people travelling in the other direction, especially. I towed a car from Idaho to California. It lost a tire and wheel going around a curve about 90 miles out of Wells, Nevada. I just thought the car was squirrelly because of the road. Stepped on the gas and it straightened out. I didn't find out until I was five miles from Wells and ran out of gas. Tire and wheel, with a full wheel cover and the lug nuts inside(?), laying out in the Nevada desert. Nobody was going the other way, thankfully.
