seat question

Did our truck seats originally get a piece of burlap between the seat springs and the foam like the GM cars did? My seat had been reupholstered (and I'm guessing incorrectly), so I have no reference on how it was done from factory.

Thanks.

Re: seat question

Yes , They had burlap between the springs and glued to the foam so that the springs would not "eat/chaff" their way thru the foam .
