Hi all, I am looking for a change in wheels and like the US Mags Rambler. As I have looked I have found the Ridler 650 that appears to be virtually identical. A couple of the pluses for for the Ridler is the larger center bore so I don't think I would need to do any modifying to my axles for that They are also less expensive by almost 50 bucks per wheel, that is chopped down as Speedway has their sale going on.
The plus on the US Mags is they are maybe a better known company. I certainly don't mind to spend a few more dollars if they are better.
I assume these both are imported and probably very similar. Does anybody have any info specifically on the Ridler wheels? I have been able to find more on the US Mags than these.

I didn't have to modify my ramblers to fit my hubs on the front at all. They are tight with the powdercoat, but I didn't have to grind anything.

I looked at both and ended up with the Ramblers because I like the center cap better.

Thanks Shannon, they sure look nice. I assume the same was true on the rear with the axle? I thought I remembered reading somewhere there was issues more with the rear. I just couldn't find it or what it referenced.

I did the Ramblers. Have been good. Balanced up well with Nitto tires.

What size wheels and what size tires are you running and did you have to widen anything or is everything factory measurements?

And what rear fuel tank do you have? Your truck looks really good!

285/40 on the back. 255/40 on the front. It's a 68 so it has the narrow rear end so I'm running 1" spacers to push the wheel out slightly.
I did the 69 Camaro gas tank. I really didn't want to fill the gas tank thru the wood bed floor. It hangs down a bit but the bottom of the tank is well above the chassis scrub line. It's a Tanks Inc. efi tank with a 255 pump.

I am in the same spot that my truck is also a 68 and has the narrower rear as well. I wasn't sure how much of a spacer I might need.

I did the 1" spacer as well....it is now perfect imho.

No issues on the rear at all. I have the 71, so no spacers on mine.

I'm not sure that the issue has been fixed, but on my 18's, I had to grind down the front hubs. The rears were not an issue. They fit perfect with the Wilwood hubs, though.

I have drug it around all over the country in pieces. Finally back on the road in 2021. "I can't complain, but sometimes I still do. Life's been good to me so far."
