Paint recommendations

I'm sure this has been asked before and I'm pretty sure I may have asked this before too but I'm going to ask again.

My Suburban roof is ready for paint with base clear. It really needs to be done while it is still on the rotisserie. In the past people have recommended:
PPG Shopline
Omni
Stay with one brand base and clear
or
ppG or Omni with SPI clear

The SPI forum is pretty good and they all seem to think that the SPI clear is superior to PPG shopline clear and is fully compatible.

Re: Paint recommendations

SPI is a better product shop Lin is bottom of PPG! PPG has a quality clear but it’s more money

Re: Paint recommendations

Omni plus or Omni pro I can never remember I think it is pro. It is nine times better than the Omni witch I used almost exclusively in my shop for the last 15 years plus or minus a couple years. the upscale Omni [plus or pro] I can even feel the difference of the paint [between the two] by shaking the paint can it covers great two coats will do three is super. Spraying out the paint I can hardly tell the diff tween that and the top shelf ppg stuff. I have never used anything lower in the line up than the Omni. I know a body guy that uses shopline he say it is more work to use but I cant answer to that from firsthand.
