Anybody put nerf bars on '89 suburban 2wd or similar?

Has anybody bought nerf bars for a 73-91 suburban 2wd?? What kind did you get??

I havent bought them for my 88 yet, but Im pretty sure Im gonna get the http://www.smittybiltinc.com/ ones.

Hmmm... I called smittybuilt and they said, they only have 1 model for me. It's in black and they don't have chrome. Here's what they have:

although it says they're for 4wd on a web site. Why would 2wd and 4wd be different??

There not unless they bolt to the spring mounts. The difference between 4wd and 2wd frames is the spring hangers anf front cross members and they are other wise identical is what everybody says. There are sever 4x4 trucks converted to 2wd by simply bolting in a 2wd front sub assembly.
