I'll upload a few photos of what's going on and a place on the rear end where I'll place the bracket were the lengthen track bar will go to.

And, of course you can see the "bump stop" distance from the axle. lol Yea, I'm planning on taking roughly or less than a half inch off that to give a little more comfortable ride instead of bouncing the whole time.

You need to add the shock relocaters. Your ride will be horrible without them.

.... you can see the Positive Camber is off and it's tucking out at the top(tough to see from the side so well)....SO that is why I took the bite and drove it to the alignment shop carefully and the plans are to see what the alignment will do. and if need step into the field like a few of you guys related to: New tires/possible spacer or springs or... etc.

So I'll try to upload photo after the alignment for you guys!

?? Curious? I didn't know I needed to? I assumed they fit fine in the same places as the older ones so that's where they went? lol :-S

Why do I need to? I'm sure your right....but why and how?
See the horrible angle of your rear shocks?
Shock relocators will help stand them up so they actually work.
Right now they are just pivoting on your shock bolts.

If you added drop spindles the front will be toe'd out for sure.
Get the alignment for sure.

Any good pricing sites I can get them from? Easy Installation?

where can i order 1.5" drop spring all i find are 1, 2, an 3". I have 4.5" drop up front an the driver side rubs on some good dips. 2.5" drop spindle with 2" spring 20x8.5 5.25"bs 245/45/20. i do have some new body mounts i have yet to install. do you think that would fix it.

Could be the tire size. I have 5.5" bs on my 4.5/6" drop running a 255/40 tire on a 20x8.5" wheel and have never rubbed. The wheels were ordered to fit my truck as we're the tires. Had I planned to run bags I would have ran the same tire and wheel with a 5.25" bs so the wheel would 'lay' in more.

Not sure why you're running into issues other than the tire.

My wheel/tire specs:

Billet Specialties Vintec's
Front: 20x8.5" w/ 5.5" BS
- Center Bore: 3.430
- Bolt Pattern: 6 on 5.5"
Rear: 20x10" w/ 4.75" BS
- Center Bore: 4.250 (due to the center hub on the rear axle of my '69 [meas. 3.5"; BS only offered 3.43])
- Bolt Pattern: 6 on 5.5"

Toyo Proxes S/T ii's
Front: 255/40-20
Rear: 295/40-20

Sounds like you have already taken it to the alignment shop -- but. One thing I usually try to do (Keith mentioned 'toed out') that was my first thought too.

Stand facing forward with your feet pointed forward like you'd normally walk. Now point your toes outward.. Imagine that being your front tires. The left (driver) wheel is turning slightly to the left .. and the right (pass) is turning slightly to the right opposing each other. A relatively easy fix for this is to have a buddy lay on one side of the truck and you on the other. Measure the distance between the centerline of your driver front tire to the center line of your pass front tire but do it on the front side (closer to the front bumper) then the back side of the tire (closer to the fender / door edge)

Assuming the later model suspension was installed first, maybe driven a while .. then your drop? IF the truck was aligned at stock height on the later model disc swap then dropped with springs / spindles it will be toed out.

I noticed it the picture of the driver's front wheel it looks like it's turned slightly to the left. When you say the tires are rubbing the fenders is it more on the front edges of the fender lip? Ideally we want the tires to be facing forward, in no way opposing each other. .. and until you get this measured and close I'd be careful about driving it too much. It will chew your tires up pretty bad.

I hope I'm explaining it correctly. But I agree with Keith on the toe issues. The last one I dropped with 2.5 spindles and 2" springs was toed out so bad it wouldn't even roll forward in the garage without the front tires squaling as I pushed it (rubber tires, cement garage floor = sound.. ) you know what I mean. that 'front of the front tire' and 'back of the front tire' measurement will get you close. I used to do it a lot with lifted Jeeps too.

I'm just thinking the tires are turned a bit out in the front causing the rubbing to be worse. 255 tires will help too.

The wheel width may be OK. Just my opinion. 20x8 w/4.5" BS vs. what others run with 20x8.5 w/5.25" BS We're only talking .25" difference but that 275 tire up front might be too much. 255 = 10.03" wide. 275 = 10.82" wide.

It's prob still going to rub w/the alignment correct given it's a 29.74" tall front tire on an 8" wheel w/4.5" bs.
A 28"tall tire (255/40/20's) would be better.
