What's this brake component called?

Though I'm approaching a full take-off, as I've said before, somehow I've avoided ever doing a brake job. At any rate, what is the unit called where the rear brake line tube connects?

While at it, what's the "plate" bolted onto the axle called.

Thank you,
Novice

Back side of the wheel cylinder that puts pressure to the brake shoes.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: What's this brake component called?

I should have asked beforehand, how about the "equivalent" for the fronts, only disc brakes? I get to pull those lines next.

Can't wait to dive into the brakes (ha), and that's coming in somewhat short order. I hear they're easy. I don't know, looks like a lot of parts, but doable. Plenty of videos on the web.

Only take one side drum setup apart at a time--that way you can look at the other side when you don't remember where all the bits go...
