I was looking at the pictures but can’t see a temperature sender on it. The sensors that I see are oil pressure and are for our trucks that have dummy lights instead of gauges. If I’m not mistaken there is two types of senders for our truck temperature. The one for gauges and the one for lights. The one for lights has two prongs to connect to, usually light green and dark green wires hooked to it. If you had gauges the connection is like a small button that your connection with green wire would connect to. Depending on what cluster a vehicle came with lights or gauges both sensors are common to all Chevy vehicles. Very long answer to (any junkyard V8 or straight six).

It's in the red circle.
My truck had gauges.

What an eye. Yes it’s in there, not sure of its operation. I would be able to test it if I knew the ohms rating it supposed to be.

Re: 60-66 extra small stuff lots of it

I found this, but I wouldn't know how to test it. Maybe put it in different temperature's of hot water and see if the ohms are at those temps.
I don't expect you to go through all that. I figured if you knew that it was correct I'd be interested.

Tony
Received the parts yesterday, good stuff, good packing, fast shipment! Thank you!

Tony, any chance you have un-rusted cab mounts that look like the attached photos? My frame is a 1966 K20

Do you have a waterpump bypass valve? Also do you have any front suspension bolts to bolt cradle to the frame

The only photo I have at the moment is post 3 part number 27. If that is the parts you are after I can dig them out and get close ups.
