Easy way to paint
Hey guy's what would be the easy way to paint this piece? I want it to look new again. So how about it what, how would you paint experts do it.
First and second pictures are what it looks like now. I have it primmered. It's all plastic. I plan to do the BowTie sivle and red to match the truck. The last picture is what is should look like. How can I do the black with chrome looking letters & such. Going to use black spray paint & chrome spray paint unless someone has a better idea for me. I know it want be perfect but how can I paint it and get the lettering to pop out?

Re: Easy way to paint
Hey Andy, after cleaning and wax and Grease remover. Adhesion promoter is a good way to go for plastic. Chrome bits 1st....let it dry a couple hrs in the sun, mask off chrome best you can, fine line tape is ideal...once it's masked do your colors. Good luck....Ed
