Cummins 6bt with brake booster ?

Hey guys, almost ready to test fit my first gen cummins into my 72k20. Any way to keep a brake booster and not convert to hydroboost? I could use the stock cummins vacuum pump then. Just worried I won't have the room. Thanks!

Re: Cummins 6bt with brake booster ?

Reaching back in my memory, I don't think you can as it actually hits... The other problem I ran into was that the original intake hit my master cylinder.

Build a new upper intake if you have to. I've got them in there with the factory booster. With a p-pump engine it's a lot more difficult. That isn't with an autoworld cross member and the intake on that one is from an industrial application.

Re: Cummins 6bt with brake booster ?

I put a bbc in a 69 Camaro once and had some fitment probs around the booster. Ended up using a booster out of a fiero . They are nice and small . Just something to consider .
