Frame looks great! You are killing this project, what kind of paint are you using? If you tip that trans up and snap a pic of the pan that is the easiest way to identify them.

Yes, I like the shade. It gets very hot here in Fl. The shade helps me to work longer .

Re: 1968

Today, I made a little progress. I received some parts. The company that got me the parts is a local parts company. When I went to get them I opened the damage boxes I found that someone put a used part in a new box. Another set back.

Re: 1968

Hmm more than two colors total is going to make it look like a clown truck, pick a two color theme, like for instance my theme is Black with red accents.

Re: 1968

Today, was Sunday and in the Bible it says not to work on the sunday. I don't think this is work. I really enjoy spending time with my truck. anyway I cleaned up the rest of my springs and painted them sun yellow. Someone posted that it was a clown truck. I hope it does not turn into that.

Re: 1968

we are doing the same thing today. 2000 miles apart. funny.
and i dont think clown truck, i think those are parts you touched.
if they were $$ spendy stuff they would come in what ever color that mfg made them, red bushing baby blue sway bar red springs white shocks and on and on. so keep at it. wish i wasnt so rushed i would like to tear deeper my self and paint it all.

Correction I said if you had more than two colors it would look like a clown truck and being that you havent made a decision on the final color theme it isnt a clown truck yet. It was not an attempt to put you down or degrade your truck in any way it was just an oppinion that more than two colors is the wrong way to do it, and you seemed as though you wanted an oppinion so I gave you mine.
