Brothers rack & pinion

Done a search and a bunch of reading, but I cant seem to find the answer.

Has anyone installed the Brothers rack & pinion on a 67-72 c10 truck that has a front Hotchkis sway bar on it?
I've read that some of the other brands hit when you crank it all the way to one side.
if it is an issue, is there a R&P that does work?

Re: Brothers rack & pinion

To my knowledge, the 'Brothers' kit is made by us, No Limit Engineering. (unless they are now selling another kit) When it comes to fitting with other components, the clearance to the sway bar, the issue would be with the height, or elevation, of the bar. Many times, this can be adjusted with a longer link (connecting the sway bar to the control arm) we have had customers install the R&P kit with Hotchkis SB, but I am not sure if they are having to mod anything.

Rob
Thank you for your response.
I'll get the sway bar installed, from there it should be easier to tell from the pictures of other installs. At least I know it can be done.

Re: Brothers rack & pinion

I believe Brothers now carries both the No Limit and another brand maybe Flaming River. It is very hard to find the No limit one on their site so be careful on what you might order. I would recommend the No Limit, that is what I used it is a very well thought out kit plus Rob has been most helpful on this board for years. You can purchase it direct thru them. They will get it out in a day or 2 it got to my house very quickly. I am using teh factory sway bar and no problems but different than what you are asking for.
Good luck
Dave
