this might get me kicked off the board !!
Okay so what is so bad, that I am willing to post and risk getting kicked off the board?
If I have everything Is correct a longhorn wheel base is 133 inches. This is from center hub to center hub. oddly enough a 86 for# f150 with an 8 ft bed. has same wheel base of exactly 133 inches. what do you think a for# engineer once worked for Chevy? Don't ask me how I know M

I still wonder if some one at GM is on the ford payroll... first they hand the whole police/cab car market to ford, then they hand over the pony car market...

but the F150 does have a heated tailgate. made so your hands dont get cold when pushing in winter.
not to mention the German Shepard edition. they come with a dog. then you have company for the walk home. I actually wish more people would buy Fords. I make good money fixing them & it is time to buy stuff to restore my 35 year old GMC.

Fag Or Retard Driven. No offense to mentally challeneged people.
Gm is good at getting things right then cancelling it. Fiero, Impala SS/Caprice, Camaro/Firebird, S10, etc. were all at thier best when they were cancelled. Now that Lutz is with them they are finally starting to come around again and making rear drive cars again. The Camaro is coming back in a couple years to.

As far as the question, Im sure there are a lot of manufacturer jumping by employees. Walter Chrysler worked for Buick and Ford before he started Chrysler. Iacocca was with Mopar after designing the Mustang at Ford and Lutz was of course with Mopar and now at GM.

What was the original question? Oh, Yah......same wheelbase, but shorter bed....is there more cab room for the storage of replacement parts, or do the drivers need more room because they are full of.......NAH........I don't know the answer. Anybody?

Yah, unfortunately, I wouldn't brag "Yah, but we make cop cars again!" I'd rather hear, "we brought back the Camaro, with 502 power". Now that would be braggin' rights.

mocwon...GM killed the f-body cuz all the wimps out there couldn't handle it(close to a factory race car in street trim) and bought the pukestains, and because they are alot higher insurance wise.

Chevy also lost a market to rescue squads...a lot of places, including my squad have Diesel Suburbans for quick response vehicles but the Duramax is only put into the pickups now so when we go to replace the 6.5 Liters the only diesel SUV out there is the Expedition

I have super charged grand prix and can beat mustangs all day long so I would assume the super charged impalas can. Lets not forget about GMs newest mustang eater the new GTO.

You can thank Lutz for the new GTO. It's a start, anyway.
If Daimler-Chrysler can have a hemi in everything, why can't we have the stuff we want?
