I dont know the exact measurements or model number on this box . It was here at a local pawn shop . It is a 13 drawer Mac roll around tool box , it seems in pretty good condiotion . The only problem with it is they dont have the key for it . I looked on the mac site and really didnt see any info about any tool boxes . I was wanting to know how hard will it be to get a key for it and is $350 a fair price for it ? Thanks

my snap on box cost a little over 4000 used.
350 sounds pretty cheap to me right now.

yeah I was kinda thinking this box was maybe in the $1,500 range brand new . If I had to guess on the measurement's . I would say it is around 48 inches in height , 36 inches in length , and 24 inches in width . Those numbers may be way off , but thats just a guesstimate . I have a snap on top chest right now and am needing a roll around box . Sounds like a heck of a deal to me , but the only thing that is making me think about it is the key factor .

I'd give them a call,or shoot an e-mail and see what they can tell ya.Or maybe call a local locksmith,maybe he can rekey the original lock.

Thanks I was looking all over there site for that e-mail address . The only addy I found was to the webmaster . Obviously I didnt look good enough for it . Thanks again

A good locksmith will be able to make you a key. Does the box have ball bearing drawer slides? That makes all the difference in the value.

I am more than sure it did , I will have to check it out again . But if it didnt , you think the box should still be worth it ?

Any local Mac rep could get you a key, and tell you how much the thing is worth. All you would need is the number off of the lock assy. My Matco box cost me over $5000.00 But it is woth it.

yeah man, that is damn cheap. My MATCO box cost me around $1700, but then agian i get their stuff half price since i go to a technical college.
$350 is well worth it.

I'd guess that box to cost about 2500-3000 bucks new.

You can't hardly buy a big-3 brand rollaway anymore for under 2 or 3 thousand. There's plenty of guys spending way over 10k just for the box empty. Ten years ago, we were paying 5 or 6 thousand dollars for average toolboxes.

Here is what 4 grand will get you in the used section of the snap on truck...this sucker is 6 feet long.

No, it isn't quite full yet, but I am already looking at adding onto this sucker... my cart is not needed for storing tools anymore...but I seem to do it anyways.

I still say 350 bones was an awsome deal.

Nice snap-on box . I have another snap-on box that is 6'X4' and am going to sell that one. That is way to much box for me , I really dont need that big of a box. This mac one will do for me. To think I was actually thinking of not buying the Mac box because of the key factor. The box was there for about 2 weeks before I even went back to get it ...lol... I been hearing alot of mixed reviews on these Mac boxes , just wanted to see what you all thought about them. I have been hearing more bad than good about them , but I dont care for what I paid I will keep it until it falls apart.
