Anyone else look on Govt Liquidation.com?

I just kinda found it by accident. If you don't have at least an hour to waste, don't look....
www.govliquidation.com
Mostly all military surplus. It took me a while to figure out how to navigate it all. But, wow I can't believe all the stuff on there. It looks like most of the auctions last two days and they post them way in advance.

yep, I tried to buy a truck on it.. if someone bids in the last 15 minutes it just adds fifteen minutes... that was dragging on for awhile so I gave up...

There is a lot of stuff on there..

I actually like that a lot. There's another site that's about the same for local county and city govts to sell on (publicSurplus.com) that does the same thing. I wish eBay would take up that policy. It eliminates the "sniper" thing, which as a seller, I hate.

I've looked at that site before. Tons of cool stuff on there! I would love to have an old M35 "Deuce and a Half". Not sure what I would do with one. Guess I could cruise around town in it lol!

I've bought stuff from them: tools and the like. You can get really good deals. I sell what I don't use on ebay. Only problem is that you can get a hundred sockets or wrenches all of the same size.

If you google "gsa auctions" a bunch of stuff comes up. Right now there are three VERY cool cars around Kansas City for sale.

Re: Anyone else look on Govt Liquidation.com?

very cool... I looked at the local AFB and the first item on the list is this:

http://www.govliquidation.com/auctio...&convertTo=USD

too bad I couldn't just call them saying "I got $500 now, I can come pick it up today"

I was kind of looking at a few other items too:

Re: Anyone else look on Govt Liquidation.com?

I was looking at some of the diesel generators. There were a couple of them that had less than 10 hours on them. They looked brand-new too.

Re: Anyone else look on Govt Liquidation.com?

The quality of the generators is pretty mixed. I bought one that was said to be low hours and it turned out to be junk. A friend of mine bought one that was described just the same and it turned out to be good.
