I am currently restoing my first car a 1965 gmc 1/2 ton fleetside. I am doing body work as of now. I have noticed that many chevrolets have the lettering painted on the tailgait. I was wondering if they make a chrome sticker or adhesive for my tailgate. I know LMC sells chrome letering for chevy tailgates, but not GMC. Is there anyone who produces the GMC chrome stickers for the taailgate? If so pease tell me.

NO, But if you have a decent sign shop in your area they should be able to copy and cut you some. The factory lettering was a low-reflective silver so the guy behind you could see you are smart enough to be driving a GMC.

But the guy behind him will probably be from overseas visiting and think it meant Get More Girls, somebody has that on the signature here.....LOL

if you can't find a sign shop, I can probably get some made for you, I am friends with the graphic designer at our local sign shop.
fleet or step tailgate?
I have a fleet we can get a pattern off of.

Maybe the stickers work better on the Chevy because the letters are recessed, instead of the GMC letters that are raised. Or maybe not--it's just a thought.

I was thinking the same thing, but I'm having mine painted on as OEM - for some reason I'm no longer getting Christmas cards from the painter, BUT I do get one from his daughter's college as a sponsor? I don't understand?
