Re: leaf spring bolts?

LMC has them on pages 159-161 but any local spring shop should have them

Re: leaf spring bolts?

So is this a common size for 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton?

Re: leaf spring bolts?

Got a local Fastenal and a tape measure? Better than that, take a bushing with you to make sure they fit.

Not trying to be rude, but who know what "fixes" have been done to your truck. My last one was quite a few, so NO one on the internet knew what was under it. (though 9/16*4-1/2" sounds about right.)

I'm kinda like duct tape- no real purpose, but handy to have around.

Re: leaf spring bolts?

Take the broken bolt with you. My 84 has metric in it. Think those are 14x105mm, not sure.

Re: leaf spring bolts?

So are all 6 of the bolts in the rear 4-1/2" long? Does anyone know the correct size and length for the bolts on the front springs?

Re: leaf spring bolts?

I bought sets for front and rear, grade 8 bolts, when I installed my lift kit. Got them from Jack-it.com. I also bought greaseable shackles and bolts from Offroad design. I highly recommend them(ORD).

i didnt remove all the bolts, but i can tell you that the bushing kits for the leaf springs and shackles are all the same bushing and all the same sleeve, so all the bolts would have to be the same size for it to work.
