1972 Chevy super cheyenne dually

Hi all, I have a 1972 chevy, it is a dually. I am 18 and I have enlisted in the Navy, but I bought my truck my freshman year for 500 hundred dollars and I put it together so it is a driveable truck. I have future plans to completely restore this truck, but do a few custom mods such as put a 5.9 Cummins into it with a 5 speed tranny. I am going to leave the duallys and the brush guard, side rails, and bumper. I would just appreciate everyones input and suggestions from more veteran restorers. I plan on anywhere from 30,000 to 50,000 dollars, would that be enough or what should I plan on. I just want everyones honest input because I know what i want to do with it, so I was just curious on how much work im going to be putting into it, but I am prepared to do it, and the 5.9 cummins is a must. Give me lots of ideas people!!
