Single wall top fitment

Hello all. Is this the proper fit for the top to the B pillar? Is it supposed to be flush like this or is the top stepped back a little? Or is it a variable situation? If I set my top up like this, there is very little room between the top of the windshield pillar and the top for a seal, and the new seals are pretty thick. Also, does the top-to-bedside seal lift the top off the bedside a bit?

Re: Single wall top fitment

Thanks, Deadhead, but with the seal on there I can't tell where the top is in relation to the B pillar. But damn man, that is a nice looking truck.

Thanks! I can’t post a better pic at the moment but maybe someone else can step in with one. 72s have caged nuts for the top bolts that allow wiggle room when installing a single wall top to aid fitment. Are you adding a single wall to an earlier model year or making use of aftermarket bedsides?

No, it's the factory top, factory bedsides, it's a 72. This is the first Blazer I've built and it was all taken apart when I got it, so I have no reference to go by. I do appreciate the effort though. Thanks
