Bucket Seat Differences?

So is there any difference in the bucket seats from 69, 70, 71, or 72 Blazers?

I have A 70 and want the correct units….

Pics would be appreciated showing differences...

Thanks in advance.

Re: Bucket Seat Differences?

Also, there were different style of seats as well. A non cst option truck would have came with "utility buckets". while cst optioned trucks would have came with "sport bucket" seats as shown in the previous post.

Re: Bucket Seat Differences?

I think the 69-70 seat covers and 71-72 covers are different. The seats themselves are the same 69-72. The CST seats are tapered on the top. The utility seats are plane jane and square on the top. They also have metal backs while the CST seats have plastic. Another thing is the utility seats have different brackets on the drivers side. They are a bit shorter in length so the CST seats wont just bolt in if you have utility seats. I'm not sure on the passenger side though as it's been a while since I've seen both. I have seen blazers with both holes though so you may want to look. The rear holes are further back on the CST seats. Hope this helps. I converted to CST seats before on a 71 I had and I had to drill new holes.
