Re: lambo doors?

I agree. too many people being negative about other people's unique ideas. when it comes down to it almost everyone is "customizing" their chevy trucks. i guarantee you there aren't many people here with a COMPLETELY original truck, its just not gonna happen. dont bash a guy because he wants lambo doors, or big 20 inch chrome ricer wheels

Re: lambo doors?

Whatever you do, take your time. They sound like a lot of work to get right. Me, one window, maybe shave the handle and keylock. Maybe... pushing it, maybe suicide doors. I just haven't seen any lambo doors I really dig. Seems like those kits are all over the place though...

Re: lambo doors?

had these on my computer

i thought i had a blue one with 88-98 ss mirrors on the vent windows, but i can't find it

i think it's cool and different, but not practical to get in at the degree they're at. a higher angle than 60 degrees would make it easier to get in. i would do suicide doors

Dude, do what you want to YOUR truck. Paint it pink and put Betty Boop on the hood...it's yours. Lamborghini doors are better than letting a truck sit and rust behind a shed!

Re: lambo doors?

Why are those doors sticking up in the air like that? What is that? What are the benefits of having those? Looks like it would tear an overhead garage door all to pieces if you opened the truck door and forgot to close the garage door and were parked under it. Better get a remote control garage door opener so you can get out. Looks like a fat feller would have a rough time getting out too.

I always sort of thought that a side opening tailgate was cool too, but I always drop the idea when I start thinking about how unpractical it is.

I always like to mix style with improved function or usefulness.

Take those big wheels for example... you never need a jack to change the oil and the undercarriage stays a lot cleaner...and I guess once you get her going, she'll run about 160MPH on top end! As ugly as it is, it does have some benefits.
