Well I have to agree Lambo doors arent something I would do, but if someone else did I wouldn't care one way or the other.

As far as ME being cool...I think that passed me by a long time ago

U know what Cg? U migh be right, who cares about what others really do
with their stuff. Now, Me, by owning a 67-72, makes me cool, and even
if I get to be an old fart, I will still try to be a cool old fart thats because
hopefully I will still have my truck. Being unique in a nice way, separates
u from the flock.

Re: lambo doors?

I`ve been driving these trucks since`73 and still am into what`s cool or not. But,what is cool will change with age. What happens is you learn to weed out the short-term passing fads (after witnessing some pretty ridiculous stuff come and go over the years),you know what you like, and when being different you want it to have a function as well as look cool.Just looking cool isn`t cool anymore once you`ve been around long enough. In fact, that becomes silly. You tend to focus more on what counts.Alot of young guys don`t get what older guys like because they missed out on what the old boys went through.Older guys are looked at by alot of the younger generation as totally uncool when the truth is they just don`t get it,yet, and the old boys actually got their finger on the pulse of cool.I always looked to the older guys when I was young to know what I know today.

I totally agree with that statement but have to add one thing. A lot of older guys think (hope) the big wheel thing is a passing fad. But many people don't put together the fact that the toys next generation grew up with over the last 30+ years have had disproportionally large wheels. I'm talking matchbox cars, RC cars and so on. So without knowing it many of us have become accustomed to those proportions and when we see it on the full size vehicle it looks good to us. That's why I think the bigger diameter wheels are here to stay. Given, there is a limit. Donk=Lame

On the Lambo doors, not my thing but GTFactory sells high quality hinges (lambo too)...

Re: lambo doors?

i don't think they would look good but to each there own.. if i was into doing something like that i would defiantly go Gaul wing. more are era of our trucks and nobody else would have them..... defiantly make the top of the truck part of the door like on a real Gaul wing... it would be a lot easier to get in and out of compared to those lambos i have seen...
