Ok having problems with my truck charging & staying charged please help!
Ok I will try to give all the info I know. I am very close to pulling out my hair lol. Its my dd right now '95 Chevy Silverado pickup all power locks, windows a/c. Well I was having problems with my batt gauge going low and it taking my other gauges & making them all read low and my headlights dim. So loose connection at battery get that fixed. Get it tested says at the store they say short in batt. Get new bigger batt same problem. Alts putting out only 40amps ok got a new alt put in clean up all connections think its ok. Starts doing the same thing when I turn on heater and headlights still drawing it down to like 10 0r 11 on the gauge & bringing gas n oil pressure gauges down. I am fed up any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks a ton!

Ok just wanted to say finally got it figured out I hope crossing fingers lol! Put an additional ground strap from the front of the motor to the frame seems to have fixed the problem!
