72 Ochre paint code
My 72 Blazer is ochre (I think GM called it dark yellow) and my local paint shop can't find the code. I would appreciate any help with this.

My suburban is listed on the SPID as White/Ochre/White. But I would like the paint code as well if anybody has one. I'll need to repaint most if not all of it in the next couple years... The last guy who tried to color match for some bodywork obviously didn't have the code...

Ochre (511) isn't the same as Dark Yellow (519).
Ochre by itself is 511 and this is the code for a solid ochre truck from the factory (this should be the only number the paint shop needs for the actual ochre paint, but sounds like that isn't workin..). Ochre/White conventional two tone is 536 (521 white roof (secondary)/511 ochre body(primary)) Ochre/White deluxe two tone is 463 (521 white roof and center (secondary)/511 ochre rest of body(primary)) 511 matches by cross-ref are: CENTARI: 5313A DULUX: 5313D LUCITE: 5313L Shown below in order: 511, 536, 463, 480 (which is deluxe two tone for 521 white (sec) and 519 dark yellow (pri)): Last edited by jocko; 07-18-2018 at 07:45 PM. |
