Anyone know where to get this

I'm trying to rebuild my Speedo and found this piece broken. Anyone know if someone sells this thing or someone willing to part with one? The old speedometer shop where I came from has long since closed and where I live now there's nothing other than sagebrush.

I just made mine better than original with a piece of plastic coffee can lid using an x-acto knife.

That is a piece of brittle plastic installed on purpose, to keep people from modifying the true mileage and rolling back the speedo.

I just lay the broken pieces on a piece of plastic sheet about the same thickness and spray it lightly with black spray paint. That leaves a perfect pattern to cut out. Keep the spray can far enough away that it doesn't blow the pieces away.

That is a great idea. I never would have thought about doing that.
