Very VERY nice! How much would you charge to convert another? (Without the LS style motor.)

COOL That looks great! I keep thinking if we got all the 2wd blazers from this board together in one place that would be really something. Yours looks bada$$!

Re: 4 Wd To 2wd In 3 Weekends

As for how much $ to convert another one it would just depend on what extreme you would want to go to. Such as channeling the front X member, stoch or tubular A-arms, air bags? The engine would have to come out of the vehicle no matter what. Let me know exactly what you are looking for.

Re: 4 Wd To 2wd In 3 Weekends

The frame is stock and as far as the front X-member it came out of a mid 80's model truck and slid right into place also used the steering out of the truck to go with the correct ball joints. It has 3" drop spindles on it. This one was a little more extreme because I channeled the front X member

Re: 4 Wd To 2wd In 3 Weekends

Hey Nobby, I did see you pass me on Hwy 90 in your red blazer. It looked bad axx. I was happy to see another 2wd blazer. I saw several blazers but yours was the only other 2wd I saw. We cruised all night on sat. and I looked for your blazer the entire time but never could find it. Is your blazer bagged? It looked like you were cruzin low when you passed us.

You've been talking about a 2wd for a long time. Has the moment arrived to move on it?

Its still my daily driver, but as soon as it is retired from daily duties, it's fair game IMO. I think I'd enjoy a slammed 2wd "hot-rod" a little more.
