How empty have you gone without running out?

Just wondering...I knew I was low when I filled it up last night...but I put 21.062 gallons into the 21 gallon in-the-cab tank!

I wanted to re-center the needle and purposely ran out of gas so I knew exactly bone dry was.

21.75 gallons in the GMC one day...
Funny thing, the owners manual says it holds about 20 gallons.

$178 (thats £114 or about 35 gallons here), thank God I don't have three tanks, it costs me the equivalent of nearly $100 to fill up my standard tank here in the UK. About 95% of that's tax too!

Got to fill up, time to sell another kidney!

I don't run out of gas. I did once on an empty stretch of road between Moses Lake and Spokane, WA (empty, flat, and in the middle of nowhere). I might as well have been on the damn moon.

Never again...

When my gauge reads empty, I can put in around 18 gallons. So I'm guessing I should be able to run it well below empty.

I drove 30 miles when it said empty until it ran out. About 3 gal. but the needle never moved past the empty mark. I too have 3 tanks and a machine gun.

Cool GAS... Never LIKED RUNNING OUT

When I get close to 600 miles I start looking for a gas station. Installed a 1993 suburban tank in my 71 that hold 42 gals. I haven't run out since.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
