yeah, those blazer panels make me want to make the drive. Sounds like a good idea to me. I'd be interested in the "Buy it all" price too

Re: 67-72 Chevy truck & blazer garage sale

Oh CRAP, why did I ever start this. Two days of trying to do an inventory and today, the pole barn must have been 120 degrees. Started at 8 and finished at 4:30. Wish it was hit by lightening that way it would all gone!!! OK, now to compile the 5 pages of list and to post some pictures. I found things I have no idea of what they are---some were alive!!---Maybe thats good as this way Andy will be guaranteed lunch! hehehehehe--only kidding brother~~~~(:>)

Re: 67-72 Chevy truck & blazer garage sale

SATURDAY JUNE 13th---The sale will open only to board members---and will START at 8:am. NO PRE-SALES. Whoever is here at opening of the barn will get first choice on any and all items (I will limit the sale of the Tachs--Tilts--AM/FMs to one each to be fair to all). If there is more then one person interested in the Blazer Bedside skins---highest offer wins them. I've decided to not go with pre-sales to end the issue of board "parts sharks"---. If you want stuff at below swap meet prices, here is your opportunity. I have 4 pages of inventory--not sure just how to post that ----with additional info and pictures?
If someone is interested in buying it all, I am open to offers prior to Wednesday the 10th.
Any suggestions how to post the inventory--as I am not a computer literate guy!! As I went down the list and put LOW swap meet prices, it totalled over $11,000. so there is a lot of stuff and i have thrown out a ton in the past month!! Interesting how crap accumulates, no??
If I try to type the inventory into a file then link it some how---perhaps___hummmm.

OK, location====I live in Bagdad, Ky.
1438 Beard Road---
This is about 35 miles east of Louisville just off Exit 35 on Interstate 64.----Warren 502-321-2094 in case you get lost!!

Re: 67-72 Chevy truck & blazer garage sale

You could type it into a word document and attach it on a post here or email it out to people. Word document is a very common propram that is on most computers so almost everyone would be able to open it. My email is rakk112000@yahoo.com if you already have it prepared to email.

"OK, location====I live in Bagdad, Ky." haha, Thats Ironic. Im just North of Baghdad Iraq.

A crack free sandalwood steering wheel--never saw one. It's hard enough to find a crack free black wheel---almost impossible to find a colored one and you need sandalwood----can you say aftermarket and a spray can. That's going to be a tough one to find. Good luck.

Will you be home the 14th? (I am coming through there, but
might not make the sale date, if you are there I may drop in
just to see what is left over, if anything) Good luck Mr. Huck

Huck, you don't by chance had any original woodgrain trim that will fit behind the driverside door below the fuel filler?

Or a NOS Custom Vinyl Green seat cover would you?

Best of luck with the sale, I hope that things go as planned!

Re: 67-72 Chevy truck & blazer garage sale

I've got LOTS of wood grain trim--probably 30 or more individual pieces. Some excellent, most good, some marginal the rest i throw away. Whatever is left over --little stuff Sunday---I can help with.

Re: 67-72 Chevy truck & blazer garage sale

Finally one more update---I want to post prices so that those who might be interested will make plans or not make plans. My thought is to give ranges where multiples exist on the "for sale board" but my prices are going to be based on "buy it at the Garage sale" -
--NOT sell it via the net, pay the 3% pay pal charge, get a shipping estimate, get a box, packing material, arrange for a shipper to come pick up the box, etc. That is A LOT more intensive then I enjoy and will adjust my pricing accordingly. I am checking with a board moderator to make sure this is OK. If so, you will see the inventory on the "Parts for sale" forum with price ranges example being ---Consoles--quantity 12, prices from $40-60. Or trim/emblems---your choice at the garage sale--$5.
Hopefully this is ok and I can update my file tomorrow---huck

Re: 67-72 Chevy truck & blazer garage sale

I removed the mats from blazers I parted out or upgraded to carpet. I believe they are original. I sold off the inner mats that level out the floor last year. Will double check and advise in my "for sale" pricing list. Whats nice is that they aren't all dried out and cracked. I have one front 4x4 mat but that is cracked from age---but nice as a template to create a replacement. Free to the first buyer of a rear mat!!
