Column shifter swap

Any idea of how hard it is to swap out the factory shifter to a billet? A buddy said it's easy and all I gotta do is remove the pin and swap them out.. Tried the search option but no luck... Thanks

Re: Column shifter swap

Use a hammer and a punch to knock the pin on the stock shifter where the shifter mounts to the collar on the column. Super simple.

Re: Column shifter swap

I did that and sure was super simple.. This shifter input shaft is to short so back to the drawing board!! Gonna take the factory shifter and figure out a way to use that shaft that goes into the column on the billet shifter.. Either machine it down or weld it

Re: Column shifter swap

Do you have a tilt column? The shift levers are different between a tilt and non tilt column. I think that looks like a tilt column shift lever.
