What year top is this?

Can someone tell me what year top this is? It came with the Blazers I bought, but I think it is a later year. It is a single wall.

That's what I was thinking. What is it worth? It's in pretty good condition, needs paint, no cracks, no hatch (if it had one).

The 73 - 75 model jimmy's/blazers didn't have a top hatch. When you ordered the truck you could get it with no top and a standard tailgate, or with a top and what is called rear drop glass. The rear tailgate window actually rolls up into the top.

As far as what it's worth, I'll ask my man, Curt. I would say if it's in that good a shape, maybe 700 to 900, depending on who's buying.

I'd say around $150-200. If you are going to sell it, you might try posting it on CK5.com or Pirate4x4.com.

David,

You can get anywhere from 200 to 600 for it. It all depends on who is buying. I have seen them go for for 250 with foot long cracks that someone had filled in with clear caulking. But, they "HAD" to have it. That top definitely isn't something you can just go out and buy everyday. It would be worth even more if you had the upper windshield frame and 73-75 doorcaps so someone could to a full top conversion to their 76 and later models.

Marianne is partially right about her price though. I know a guy up north who had one lying around and smoothed it out slick as glass and painted it. Got 1000 bucks for it.
